Questions people often ask before they sign up
What prerequisites do I need for Rescue Diver?
You need PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and Emergency First Response (done in the last 24 months). You also need at least 20 logged dives, including a deep dive and a navigation dive.
How long does the Rescue Diver course take?
3 days. You do theory, practice skills in the sea, and then full practice emergencies.
What makes Rescue Diver different from other courses?
This course is about looking after other divers. You learn to stop problems early and help when something goes wrong. It is also the first step if you want to go pro.
Do I need to be a strong swimmer?
Yes. You need to swim well and be fairly fit. Helping another diver can be hard physical work.
What can I do after Rescue Diver certification?
You need Rescue Diver before PADI Divemaster and other pro courses. It also makes you a better and safer dive buddy.
Is there an eLearning option available?
Yes. You can do the theory online with PADI eLearning. Then you finish the sea dives with us for a lower fee.

Courses depend on the weather and on when the instructor is free. Some courses need a minimum number of students. You also need to be fit to dive under PADI rules.
