At Tarkarli Divers, safety comes first. We check our gear often. We plan for problems before they happen. We follow the same safety steps on every single dive.

How We Keep You Safe

• PADI Divemasters: All our instructors hold PADI certifications. They keep training to stay sharp.
• Gear checks: We check and service all dive gear the way the makers say to.
• Safety talks: We give a full safety talk before every dive.
• Emergency plans: Our team practises what to do if something goes wrong.
• Health checks: Every diver answers some health and fitness questions first.

Checks Before the Dive

Before every dive, we check the gear and the sea. You and your buddy check each other's gear too. We show you the hand signals. We also tell you what to do if there is a problem.

Dive Gear

We only use certified dive gear from good makers. We check and service it often. We carry spare gear on every dive. Trained technicians service our gear. We replace it when the makers say to.

If Something Goes Wrong

Our team is trained in first aid and giving oxygen. We know how to bring a diver up safely in an emergency. We stay in touch with local emergency services. We have a plan to get help from every dive site.

Health and Fitness

Every diver fills in a short medical form. You also need to be fairly fit. If you have a health problem, please talk to your doctor before you dive.
